Week 3 Glass Apprentice Challenge FRIT Frit - Frit is small pieces of glass ranging in size from powdered glass to pieces a few mm in size. This can be a blend of colors, or a single color. For this challenge I made my own frit and blended the colors. That increased the technical difficulty of the final bead more than using a pre-purchased blend. This bead was hand-shaped to an interesting final shape with a single deep twist on each side. This bead also won 1st place for this week.
